Be a part of the Book Club! This month’s book is Love is The Way – Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times by Bishop Michael Curry. Reading tips are available on the Pastor’s Weekly Witness. We will gather in person or online to discuss on January 27th.

The Sharing and Caring Class meets online each Sunday afternoon for interesting faith discussion and prayer. If you would like to be a part of this gathering contact Kerry at kerry.cosner@gmail.com to get the online connection.

The Florida Conference invites you to participate in a new online devotional starting Monday - A Community of Love and Forgiveness, A 31day Journey from MLK Day to Ash Wednesday. It consists of 31 either written or video devotions for each day based on exploring what does the commitment we make at our baptism mean - Do you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, put your whole trust in his grace and promise to serve him as your Lord in union with the church which Christ has opened to people of all ages, nations and races? You can access this devotional at flumc.org/love-forgiveness

The UM women are collecting cancelled postage stamps and soft drink tabs. Collection containers will be available in worship center or drop off in the church office.

Looking for something new to do? Volunteers are needed for the thrift shop which is an important aspect of the ministry of this church. If you are interested in learning more contact Dave Desrosier or the church office.

Pastor Linda will be at the Riverside Coffee and Tea shop this Friday at 9:30. Stop by and chat about anything on your mind!

Last chance for pecans—they are almost gone! Bags of cinnamon and halves are left.
